The final HomePatrol Sentinel, the free Windows program that updates firmware and the weekly database and manages favorites for both the HomePatrol-1 and the HomePatrol-2. It is the version that added HomePatrol-2 support; the installer files are dated 14 July 2014.
Read before installing. Not the same program as the BCDx36HP/SDS Sentinel. An older HomePatrol Sentinel does not need to be removed first.

WHAT THIS IS
------------
Uniden HomePatrol Sentinel 2.03.02. The final HomePatrol Sentinel, the free
Windows program that updates firmware and the weekly database and manages
favorites for both the HomePatrol-1 and the HomePatrol-2. It is the version
that added HomePatrol-2 support; the installer files are dated 14 July 2014.
APPLIES TO
----------
HomePatrol-1 and HomePatrol-2. Not for the BCD436HP, BCD536HP, SDS100 or
SDS200, which use the separate BCDx36HP/SDS Sentinel.
BEFORE STARTING
---------------
- A Windows PC with an internet connection (Sentinel downloads firmware and
the weekly database from Uniden while it runs).
- A mini-USB data cable; charge-only cables will not connect.
- The package includes the .NET Framework 2.0 redistributable and Windows
Installer 3.1 for older systems.
- Operating-system support: Uniden lists none; the program runs on the .NET
Framework. Whether the installer completes on Windows 11 could not be
confirmed.

INSTALLATION
------------
1. Unzip the download to a temporary folder.
2. Run Setup.exe and follow the on-screen instructions. An earlier HomePatrol
Sentinel does not need to be removed first (Uniden).
3. Start HomePatrol Sentinel. To update, connect the HomePatrol, choose Mass
Storage if asked, and use UPDATE > Update Firmware and UPDATE > Update
Master HPDB, then HomePatrol > Write to HomePatrol.
VERIFYING
---------
Sentinel's status bar shows "Application Version" with the installed version.
IF SOMETHING GOES WRONG
-----------------------
- If the scanner is not found, try another cable, or put the microSD card in a
card reader and tick show all drives.
- If Sentinel reports that a new version is available, it must be installed
before the database can be updated.
- Firmware updates are fetched from Uniden's server (ftp.homepatrol.com); if
that server is unreachable, Update Firmware fails.
DOWNGRADING
-----------
Uninstall through Windows and install the older package. Older versions cannot
handle a HomePatrol-2.
